Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984 on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. She was on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her professional career as a stand-up comedian in 2011, after playing a few small roles she appeared in Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. In 2012, she began appearing on a variety of sitcoms and sketch shows. In the wake of her success in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's a popular contestant of the show's sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is the younger of her siblings. She became only the second female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea, her maiden name, is a tribute to her late dad. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who was killed at the age of three when Bea turned three, was an sufferer of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after thirteen years of age. As a way to honor her father, she adopted the stage name Bea and, in the year 2017, published an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea as well as her younger sister Sinead, were raised with Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) who was a jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. She and her family loved horses, races and the racing industry. Bea started out as a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her true passion was acting, not racing.
